Hosted Events POLICY

Effective immediately the Hosted Event policy is suspended.
  • Due to recent crime and damage on the site, the Association management has to re-think the Security and Hosted Events Policy. New policy is being drafted. Member input is welcome.
  • The Association has had to take the extraordinary step of engaging security patrols to ensure the safety and security of our personnel and amenities. As such, it is unfair to the Membership to be expected to pay for patrols required for an individual on site hosted event.
  • Association management may exercise discretion to permit or deny an event based on past behaviour and perceived or actual risk.
  • No Hosted Events will be approved or held on statutory holidays.
  • Members who stage unauthorized larger parties or Hosted Events will be invoiced for the entire cost of security and cleaning at 1.5x (holiday rate) AND subject to a fine, fee, deposit or other response as determined by Association management per the policies in place.
  • If required, the Association can engage a uniformed patrol security team for the duration of an authorized event. Security minimum charge is $250.00 – invoiced and paid before any event. Security patrol fees are NONrefundable.
  • Sponsorship of Hosted Events is possible. Association Management will be pleased to consult with you about the event you are considering.

Community Garden

An area near the HOA is going to be designated as future Community Gardens. For this year, we will do foundational tilling and planning.
